If you've recently lost your cr@p hard drive simply by accident then stop reading this now and go to RecoveryRobot.com. If you are into hacking, hacking into computer security or want to know more about the hacking capabilities of John McAfee then keep reading this blog post. With the release of Windows 10 one key vulnerability has been identified which makes it possible for hackers to exploit Microsoft's new operating system using a single keystroke to hijack a machine account without any input from the user or administrator. Microsoft's Windows operating systems allow users to have local account passwords expire after a period of inactivity. This helps ensure that the system is secure from intrusion from the outside by malicious users. However, researchers at China's Fudan University have built a keylogger which exploits the password change feature in Windows 10 and has been implemented as part of their new Windows 10 account hijacking tool called 'Funky Kit'. According to an article on Softpedia, Funky Kit is a software application designed to steal user login credentials for various major websites and services such as Yahoo, QQ, Baidu, Taobao and many more. Funky Kit can be used to steal any local account password from a Windows 10 machine, including Microsoft account passwords. In addition, Funky Kit can also be used to capture desktop screenshots and record the keyboard inputs made by the user. Unlike MacOS and Linux operating systems which support single keystroke-based password changes, Windows 10 does not provide a direct way for a logged in user to change a local account password. According to researchers at Fudan University, only one keystroke is required for users to have their local account passwords changed without ever needing to login using another name or using an additional tool such as Google Chrome or KeePass. The researchers have named the technique they have developed 'TKx'. To change a local account password, Funky Kit takes advantage of the fact that Windows will automatically log out users when their logon time limit has elapsed. The exact age by which this will happen varies according to the account's type. The local account password changing functionality is disabled for the User Account Control (UAC) system settings by default. Once a user has logged off, Funky Kit can be used to completely bypass the User Account Control settings. This means that Windows 10 users are not protected from hacking by UAC at all unless they override this setting manually in their local security settings. While Funky Kit has been available for some time now, it has only recently been picked up by the press because of a flaw identified in Windows 10 that makes it possible to bypass UAC and change a local account password without any sort of confirmation. Funky Kit is distributed as a stand-alone application and can be downloaded from http://www.funkykit.com/ . According to researchers at Fudan University, Funky Kit is capable of stealing over 100 million user login credentials per day. The vulnerability could potentially be exploited using non-malicious software such as spyware, backdoors and remote access tools such as RATs (Remote Administration Trojan) or ZeroAccess malware. eccc085e13
